Fifty Shades of Grey: Olivia Wilde Talks Love Scenes With Charlie Hunnam, Tells Casting Critics to "Shut Up!

Olivia Wilde knows what it's like to get down and dirty with Christian Grey.

She and newly-minted Fifty Shades of Grey star Charlie Hunnam shared some steamy scenes in last year's Deadfall.

"I'd like to think that our love scenes sort of prepared him for this experience," Wilde told me with a very big laugh yesterday while promoting her new flick Rush at the Toronto Film Festival.

And critics of Hunnam's casting, step aside! Wilde's got his back.

"Audiences should just shut up and wait to be surprised, wait to be delighted," she said.

She's also not surprised that Hunnam took the role. "Charlie is already departing so much from himself to play what he plays in Sons of Anarchy," Wilde said. "Charlie is a kid from Newcastle, England and he plays this biker dude who's bad ass—that makes me think he could do anything."

Has Wilde read Fifty Shades? Not yet. "Someone gave me an extremely weathered copy of it, which was hilarious," she said. "They were like, 'Read this, I'm done with it.' I was like, 'Oh, gosh—these pages are, like, sticky.'"

And speaking of hot men in Wilde's life—in Rush she plays Suzy Miller, the real-life first wife of the late Formula One champion James Hunt.

Hunt happens to be played by hunky Aussie Chris Hemsworth. "He's just so ugly," Wilde cracked. "I feel so bad for him. Blech!"

The Ron Howard-directed Rush tells the story of the legendary feud of the 1970s between Hunt and rival driver Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl).

"What sets Chris apart is he's really very grateful for his position in this business," Wilde said. "He worked very hard to get here and he appreciates it."

Forget New York Fashion Week!

Olivia Wilde has been turning the red carpet at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival into her own personal runway.

In just the past few days, the star has already worn six stunning high-fashion looks, which she has also paired with sleek hairstyles and flawless makeup.

The actress has been promoting her upcoming flick Rush and perhaps using the event as a fun excuse to enjoy the last of summer frocks.

On Monday, she made three wardrobe changes. First, she stepped out in an embellished sweater and sequined skirt combo by Marios Schwab. Then later on at the Third Person premiere, she brightened up in a yellow Valentino dress with nude Jimmy Choo pumps and a neon pink lip color. Finally, she finished up the night in a brilliant blue geometric print sheath by Antonio Berardi, which accented her slim silhouette.

Just one day earlier, she wowed in a super sexy LBD by Roland Mouret but only after showing off her ladylike side in a printed Mary Katrantzou frock at a brunch event.

She did ditch her dresses for one event. While stopping by the Variety Studio the actress opted for a Isabel Marant top, green blazer and loose printed Gucci pants.

Considering the serious chic streak the 29-year-old seems to be on, we can't wait to see the Monique Lhuillier gown she will be wearing when she says "I do" to Jason Sudeikis very soon.
