'Bates Motel' premiere delivers A&E ratings record

A&E reports that 4.6 million viewers checked the series premiere of its Psycho prequel Bates Motel. Monday's debut episode also had 2.4 million adults 18-49, making it the network's highest-rated drama series premiere ever

The series premiere ratings for “Bates Motel” starring Vera Farmiga and Freddie Highmore hit scripted drama highs in key demos for A&E.
