I don't think there is a gender who cheats more. I feel both genders cheat equally. Some people may not agree with this, but I know it to be true. So many males are out there cheating thinking that the girlfriend or wife is home being faithful. The truth of the matter is, I feel that when a man starts cheating on his spouse,be it male or female, that other partner senses it. They may choose to ignore it,but I feel like they always know. Now I'm not saying that other person always starts cheating also. Some people just will try to be faithful, even if they know the other partner is cheating. But,I feel the majority of us will want to get even and do a little cheating of our own. The partner most times never suspects this,and even if they do, they can't catch us doing the dirty deed. But you'd better believe that we are doing it. This cheating can go on for a long time,or it can be a brief little fling that we have. We can do it when we are upset with the other person,then we feel like crap,so we vow to never do it again. At least until we feel like you are up to no good again. So regardless of what, I feel like both sides are being unfaithful equally.
